New twist on an old tradition!

We had a great Thanksgiving. A set of missionaries came over. The Elder from the states just loved everything. He was so grateful to have turkey he couldn’t wait until it got to the table. None of us could either. We sent them home with a large brown bag of food. Plus we gave them a box of Froot Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and peanut butter. Elder Mac was with out words. He couldn’t remember what the English word he was for how he felt. It was a nice day. The Yams were interesting. The Japanese yams are purple on the outside and white on the inside. When you cooked them they were a yellowish. The leftovers stayed in the frig until the were thrown out. They were a very dry yam. I put lots of butter and brown sugar and still were very dry. Therefore, no more yams for thanksgiving until we find the sweet potato variety. Happy Thanksgiving!
