Helping Mom

Annalee was helping mom put back the can. She gets into everything! Especially chocolate. She climbed up into a cupboard and took a square piece of baking chocolate and ate it. She likes to get into the freezer where the chocolate chips are kept. The candy in the pantry is too high for her, but she still tries to get to it.

Christmas is Coming

All dress up for church. Cute! Annlee's new word. Everything is cute.

Santa Came!

Santa Came to the Branch Christmas Dinner. Annalee did not want to sit on his lap until she saw the camera in dad's hand. Jen thinks she is too big for Santa. Kailynn was the only one who talk to Santa.

Decorating the Tree

We had a slow start decorating the tree. We decided Annalee could be the tree. Then we thought we better try the tree.

First Snow

26 Nov.2005
We woke up to Snow one Saturday morning. I took this picture at about 9:00 am It was starting to melt. There was a lot more.

New twist on an old tradition!

We had a great Thanksgiving. A set of missionaries came over. The Elder from the states just loved everything. He was so grateful to have turkey he couldn’t wait until it got to the table. None of us could either. We sent them home with a large brown bag of food. Plus we gave them a box of Froot Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and peanut butter. Elder Mac was with out words. He couldn’t remember what the English word he was for how he felt. It was a nice day. The Yams were interesting. The Japanese yams are purple on the outside and white on the inside. When you cooked them they were a yellowish. The leftovers stayed in the frig until the were thrown out. They were a very dry yam. I put lots of butter and brown sugar and still were very dry. Therefore, no more yams for thanksgiving until we find the sweet potato variety. Happy Thanksgiving!
